Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Pittsburgh follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I am extremely disappointed with the scheduling process at Pitt Dental. I called multiple times throughout the week because I was told that the December appointment schedule had not opened yet. Based on that information, I continued calling back exactly as I was instructed. Today, I was suddenly told that all December appointments are already full. I was then informed that I had been given incorrect information and would now have to wait until the January schedule opens. This is unacceptable. If the December schedule was actually available, I should have been given the opportunity to schedule when I first called. Instead, I relied on the information your staff provided, only to lose the chance to obtain a December appointment because of inaccurate guidance. I am especially concerned about the inconsistent information provided by Aniya. Whether this was due to a lack of training, poor communication, or failure to verify scheduling information, it caused me to miss the opportunity to be seen sooner. I ask that this situation be reviewed so other patients are not affected in the same way. I would appreciate an explanation of how this occurred and to know whether there is a cancel

Jacquline was my dentist she extracted two teeth one was partially exploded with giant pieces missing and the other one was broken completely off at the gum line I’m 56 years old and a NAVY veteran that was a hands-down the most positive dental experience I’ve ever had in my life, the other young lady who assisted her the two of them had the most awesome bedside manner. They were professional, courteous, gentle, and just absolutely perfect, in everything that they did. I’ve never had a dental experience that enjoyable in my life. 10 🤩

I wanted to share our recent experience following my daughter’s referral to Dr. Giannakopoulos at Pitt School of Dental Medicine by our Orthodontist. The journey itself was quite an ordeal, taking us over an hour to reach the clinic, and finding parking proved to be extremely challenging. After finally securing a spot in a parking garage, we had to navigate through the lobby and trek up a hill to reach the main building. Upon arrival, we found the office to be in a concerning state—it was noticeably unclean, and the overall atmosphere felt uncomfortable. The clientele appeared as though they had simply wandered in from off the stree, which added to our unease. Reflecting back, my initial concern should have been sparked when I called to schedule the appointment. The Patient Coordinator, Lori Landefeld, came across as extremely rude and unprofessional. When we were taken to the exam room, it seemed like an old bathroom that had been converted for patient use, further diminishing our comfort. While waiting, my daughter and I looked up reviews online, which reinforced our doubts. Ultimately, we decided it was best to leave without proceeding with the appointment. Based on our exper

Wonderful experience getting my tooth extracted! Friendly staff, were able to schedule the follow up extracting after evaluating me in the same week (3 days later), and very affordable. Staff was very professional and did a great job. For those who couldn’t manage to arrive early, the saying is “arrive early and you are on time, arrive on time and you are late, and late is unacceptable”.

My friend and I have had very good out comes at the school. Unfortunately, last year I swore never to let myself be treated by them again. I had come for a simple extraction that went on for hours. No intern or instructor could shoot enough Novocain in the roof of my mouth and back of my jaw, and no one pulled hard enough to remove the tooth! To me, it seemed more and more likely they had the wrong tooth. ( but maybe it was all that Novocain talking). No one was willing to stop to re-evaluate. All the while they ignored me and never asked how I felt or if I was ok. Then came the coup de grâce, they left the open cubical, pointed out to each other it was already 4PM, quitting time, AND a Friday! So, consistent with their patient oriented plan, the instructor determined to quit immediately, and have me return for more of the same Monday. I declined when this option was proposed to me by the student. As I was walking through the filled waiting room one of the instructors caught up to me and said “you forgot to get your return appointment for Monday” that was when I made my decision and said “I will Never come back here for treatment again.” No one had even asked if I was in pain,
